The Velveteen Lop rabbit breed is on track for formal breed recognition with the American Rabbit Breeders Association in October 2026. The Velveteen Lop Club of America will be a national rabbit club focused on supporting breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts of the Velveteen Lop. Our goal is to promote responsible breeding practices, protect breed integrity, and build a strong community around this unique and beautiful breed of rabbit.
We are currently in the organizational phase and welcome individuals interested in helping establish a solid foundation for the club’s future.
